A warm welcome home from the moment we stepped in the door. The weather has been amazing and it has been an excellent base for touring. We have met many of the locals, and they have all been full of information for us, especially the landlords at "The Bannockburn"! You have the cottage filled with everything needed, the welcome basket was a lovely touch and the kids loved the garden - we will return!

Very beautiful, clean and welcoming home from home cottage. Very quiet and peaceful location in small village. The cottage makes a wonderful base to travel from and return back to. Thank you for a very wonderful holiday.

A super location with a variety of facilities in the village including a great butchers, restaurants, pubs a post office and take out. The harbour is picturesque and Helmsdale is a good base for exploring this region further. The cottage has every conceivable item you could need and the garden is a haven of peace and quiet -plus safe for children/pets. The people of the village were so welcoming and pleased that we were had chosen to holiday there.

This beautiful house is an ideal holiday home. It is cosy, homely and well equipped as a home from home. It has loads to do in the surrounding area and is an ideal base for touring the highlands. We had 4 adults and two children and found this accomodation excellent value for money and a wonderful holiday home. We will be back.

I just wanted to write to tell you that my family loved Bluebell House during their stay last week! My husband and I went to see them a few times and we were all struck by the loveliness of the house as well as the fact that it really did have everything anyone could want, in every way. If someone needed something, it only took a quick look around to find that the required item (from utensils to small appliances) was already there.
It's very comfortable and homey and also very pretty, and it's obvious that lots of care went into renovating the rooms and making everything just so, for guests. The welcome basket was much appreciated and my family truly enjoyed their stay there. I'll definitely be recommending Bluebell House to anyone else who comes to stay in Helmsdale. It's a delight!

The cottage was great, a smashing place to stay with lots of walks and the views were fantastic. We did not want to come home, the welcome pack in the kitchen was a help and the wine went down well!
